Fall 2008

Our neighbor Diana cut Remy's hair for the first time.  

We kept him distracted with trucks and Mum Mums and he did pretty well.

Here's Remy with his spiffy new do!  

His favorite new passtime is pushing his car around the neighborhood.  

The Park!  Remy is pretty good at going down the slide on his own.  

Most of the time he prefers going down on his tummy.  

He works hard at trying to climb back up the slide, but doesn't quite make it yet!

First Steps

Remy took his first solid steps on his own in mid-September.

At Uncle Claude's Farm

Here is Remy checking out his first real tractor!  It was an exciting moment.

Remy currently has 5 words:  truck, tractor, car, cup and doggie.  

He loves his trucks books so it was neat to see a real tractor up close!

Cousin Audrey came for a visit and we spent the week at the Dennis Family Cottage.

Baby Johnny

We took a trip in August to Santa Barbara to meet Remy's newest cousin Johnny.

Remy and Julia were pretty much inseparable during our visit. 

 They rode in the double Bob together...

... read books together (Julia was really into Remy's trucks!)...

... and ate together!  

Sharing was not always successful, but they tried!

"Mega Construction Site"!

Remy's 1st Birthday

We celebrated Remy's 1st Birthday at Grandma and Grandpa Ficzere's.  

Here is Remy with some of his presents from Auntie Adrianne.  

Auntie bought him a neat truck puzzle which he enjoyed taking apart (he hasn't quite figured out how to put it back together yet...).  As you can see, Tag is also enjoying playing with Remy's new toys...

Remy liked it when we sang "Happy Birthday" and clapped his hands throughout the song.

His birthday party with other kids is coming up later in August when his cousin Audrey will be here to celebrate with him.
